These are some of the projects I have worked on; either as a Writer, Editor, Digital Content Manager or Speaker:
She Conquers South Africa
It is a three-year campaign launched (in 2016) by the National Department of Health and is executed through a five-pronged approach: retain young women and adolescent girls in school; increase economic opportunities for youth of South Africa (specifically young women); and decrease new HIV infections, teenage pregnancies and gender-based violence among young women and adolescent girls.
Role: Writer, Editor and Digital Content Manager for loveLife (through Kwambele Social Marketing), an implementing partner for the Department of Health.
In April 2018, I designed the strategy with which loveLife runs its social media channels. On this gig, I oversee the content published on all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Soundcloud) and compose press releases; I am responsible for creating, editing, posting and updating content. On my end, it takes creativity, leadership skills (developing those!) and of course, great writing ability, to produce and publish stories.
Move for Health Day
10 May is Move for Health Day; which forms part of the development of global and national strategies on diet, physical activity and health. The initiative encourages all South Africans to take responsibility for their health by engaging in cost effective physical activities such as walking, regular exercise and other extramural activities.
